Lint Center Unveils Scholarship for Fallen Bronze Star Hero

WASHINGTON, D.C., November 22, 2008 – The Lint Center, a non-profit charity, focused on supporting the educational pursuits of the next generation of America’s Counterintelligence (CI) and National Security Workers, today formally announced the creation of the Staff Sergeant Richard Eaton Jr. Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is dedicated in honor of Staff Sgt. Richard Eaton, a United States Army Counterintelligence Special Agent and Bronze Star recipient who died in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, on August 12, 2003. (Iraq time)

The newly created fund will award $1000 to the winning applicant to assist with tuition and other educational costs. The deadline for scholarship consideration is January 31, 2009.
