Westchester County Detachment's Life Member Col Richard "Dick" Esau USMC Ret has been named to the position of Executive Director of MCRA (Marine Corps Reserve Association).

Dick,a Vietnam War combat officer, was National Commander of the MOPH (Military Order of the Purple Heart) and has held several corporate executive positions since his Marine Corps retirement. He is presently the Vice Chairman of the Westchester County Veterans Service Committee and serving on the Service Academy Selection Committee of Senator Hillary Clinton (NY).

Dick will add a new dimension to the organization and looks to have his fellow Marines recognize and associate with MCRA as a vital lobbying force for the Active Duty, Reserve and veteran Marines throughout the world.

Dick, his wife Naomi and family will be relocating from Westchester County to Virginia.
