On June 14, 2003, the Andrus Children's Center, in collaboration with the Marine Corps League, is sponsoring a Field Day for the children whose parent has been called to active duty to serve our country and win the war in Iraq.

The Marine Corps League Color Guard will participate in the Flag Day Ceremonies at the Mamaroneck Elks Lodge (Boston Post Road - Behind Diner) on Friday 13 June 2003 at 19:00 hrs (7 pm). The Elks Lodge is North of Boston Post Rd & Mamaroneck Avenue. Food will be Served. Our Young Marines will be the Flag presenters in the US Flag display. Members & family welcome to attend.

It is with deep regret that we must announce the passing of our fellow Marine and Marine Corps League life member Matteo Troia (Troy, Matthew T.). Mr. Troy passed away April 17, 2003 at St. John's Riverside Hospital. He was 81 years old. A lifetime resident of Yonkers, Mr. Troy was one of 12 children born to the late Gaetano and the late Francesca Troia. He was educated in Yonkers Public Schools, ...
