NORFOLK, Va. — The Navy announced Friday that personal information on more than 100,000 Navy and Marine Corps aviators and air crew was discovered on one of its Web sites on Thursday. The information was immediately removed from the Naval Safety Center’s Web site, a press release said.

There has been increased reports of a phishing scam from the email address, "abuse@vba.va.gov". This email is not from the VA (Veterans Administration). The email asks you to check your account by clicking on a link, which sends you to a bogus site to attempt to gain your personal information. This is known as phishing.
