Dear Marines and Associates,
As we gather to celebrate the 249th anniversary of our nation’s independence, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering commitment to the principles of freedom, honor, and service that define both our Corps and our country. The Fourth of July is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who fought for the liberties we cherish today and to renew our dedication to preserving these values for future generations.
This Independence Day, we pause to honor our fellow Marines, service members, and their families who are currently serving our nation, often far from home. Their absence at family gatherings reminds us of the profound sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms. We hold them in our thoughts, praying for their safety and swift return to their loved ones.
Let us also remember the countless heroes who have gone before us, whose courage and resolve secured the independence we celebrate today. As members of the Marine Corps League, we carry forward their legacy by supporting our communities, veterans, and active-duty Marines.
May you and your families enjoy a safe and joyful Independence Day filled with pride in our nation and gratitude for those who serve.
Semper Fidelis!
